Description
Order On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal is considered, and, pursuant to MCR 7.302(F) (1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we VACATE, in part, the judgment of the Court of Appeals and we REMAND the case to that court. On remand, the Court of Appeals shall reconsider the question of the admissibility of the defendant's post-arraignment statement in light of this Court's decision in People v Bladel (After Remand), 421 Mich 39; 365 NW2d 56 (1984), aff'd sub nom 475 US 625; 106 S Ct 1404; 89 L Ed 2d 631 (1986). Thereafter, that court shall also determine whether any error in the admission of that statement and the error in admitting the hearsay testimony of the social worker may be deemed harmless. In all other respects, leave to appeal is DENIED. We do not retain jurisdiction.
